The eDermastamp medical device is used to produce thousands of micro- medical needle-columns in the skin. The tiny micro-column will close rapidly within minutes enabling the skin to recover quickly. This controlled treatment to the skin surface is not deep enough to elicit a scarring response however it will cause the body to have a healing response. The nearby tissue is broken down and new elastin and collagen are formed. This way scarring, lines, wrinkles and pigmentation are all gently removed, being replace over time with new scar free skin.
It takes time because new collagen is formed, skin cells are generated and the blood supply is enhanced. so we advise that it can take at least 6 weeks before visible signs of regeneration and repair are seen. The good news is that this process will continue over the following months, providing you with a natural and long lasting enhancement.
We normally recommend that your eDermastamp treatment consists of a series of three procedures with approximately 6 weeks between them.
In the treatment of acne scars and other types of scarring it may be necessary to extend your eDermastamp treatments, carrying out up to five procedures.
